The Capital One offer says “Prime +1.75%” which is currently 4.75%.  The RFD post makes it sound like this 4.75% rate is fixed until 2012, however, it will go up when the Capital One rate goes up from 3% (conversely it could go down).

Am I misinterpreting something?

Followup.  Oh, I am missing something...it explicitly says “4.75% interest rate will become a variable rate of Prime +1.75 %”, so it is fixed until 2012.  Pretty good rate.

Do NOT spend if you can not afford to pay it back when statement arrives. Responsible spending people. If you do that, all these interest rates, no matter how high or low, does not concern you.

Am i missing something here. When it goes to Capital One’s website it says the rate is 5.99%, not 4.75% as shown here???
