Canadian Tire: 3-Handset Phone Set For $50, 1/2 Price Henckels Knife Set & More
Canadian Tire has some excellent deals this week -- here's what caught our eye:
- A GE 5.8GHz 3-Handset Phone (Product #99-0741-2) is $49.98. The set only requires one phone jack (which means it's probably not expandable) but three handsets for under $50 is a great deal. There are no rainchecks for this item.
- The Henckles Fine Edge Forged Pro 8-Piece Cutlery Set (Product #42-7553-2) is half-price -- just $99. It comes with a variety of knives, a set of kitchen scissors, and a knife block.
- An Adjustable Leather Office Chair (Product #68-0935-6) is $49.96. That's half-price, and it looks like a decent chair for the money.
- The Legare Student Desk (Product #99-6878-2) is $99.99 and assembles with no tools or hardware. There are no rainchecks for this item.
- There's a Gooseneck Clip-On Lamp (Product #52-4999-0) that is 60% off -- $3.99, down from $10.29, as well as a 2-Pack of Table Lamps (Product #99-6627-0) that are $14.99 for the set (there are no rainchecks available for that item).
- Last but not least, Pet Crates (Product #s 42-6474X) are 25% off -- they start at $55.99 and come in Medium, Large, or Extra-Large.
These sales and specials run Saturday, August 9 to Friday, August 15.

Bought a Uniden 5.8GHz 3-Handset Phone set at Superstore recently for $40.

The Ginsu knife in the Henkles set has dimples only on one side. All other brand of Ginsu knifes have dimples on both sides of the brade so when you are chopping food doesn’t stick to the blade. Took mine back. Called Henkles and they said that this is the only set of knifes that has the dimples on one side. Couldn’t give me an explanation as to why.

I just picked up a similar phone from FS. I has purchased this one from CT @ 60$ but the phones are tinny and the display sucks. FS phone is same price but phone sounds like it’s a little better quality.
