Asked customer service at Disney World, and they said gift card is *NOT* good for anything else other than merchandise. So food is not eligible. And the gift card is honored PER ROOM, not per person.

Unless the customer rep gave wrong info, which happens occasionally due to their trained way to promote other services, you should call and ask to confirm when placing a booking.

According to Disney Gift Card program, food and merchandise etc. are all eligible, so I didn’t know why the rep said no. A different kind of gift card? with different terms? again… check before you book.
