BestBuy.ca Deal Details

I came Best Buy located @ Mississauga this morning & nothing going on. I am very disappointed.

I think it’s an online only promotion.  On the BB website it says

“Special Offers: ONLINE ONLY - Purchase this black 16GB Zune and receive a FREE black 4GB Zune”

I haven’t tried it out yet but if anyone does give us a shout!

it’s too bad the Zune only works under Windows..  If they weren’t so stuck up and released it for other systems, I would have actually probably bought one…

The cost of making the zune compatible with other systems would probably not be worth it for Microsoft. The chances of, let’s say a mac user buying a zune over an ipod would be very slim.

Even allowing users to simply use it as a Universal Mass Storage, effectively allowing drag+drop support, (like the Sandisk Sansas do) they could.

But than less people would use their zune software, and use the marketplace. Which is how they make the majority of their money.
