Anyone order from amazon.com and get dinged with a customs charge?

I haven’t on my 2 DVD orders. Didn’t get charged taxes or customs, and it shipped from Canada. Only drawback was no free shipping (was about $10 for shipping DVD boxset exp) but more than made up for it in my case.

Next question: I chose express (it was $2 more) ... said 4-6 days ... but order estimation now says almost a month ... wtf?!?
