AirTran Airways: Sale Fares From Seattle, $104 to New York, $94 to Miami - Book By Nov 10 (GVRD)

Vancouver travellers looking to visit US destinations can often find better deals by flying out of Seattle, the latest seat sale from AirTran Airways is a good example of these savings.

Book by November 10 and you can save substantially on flights to select US cities. Offer is valid for travel by February 10, with the lowest available fares on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Holiday blackout dates apply, see AirTran.com for specific blackout dates.

Here are some examples of the one-way fares we found with this sale:
    • Seattle to Ft. Lauderdale: January 19-26 - $89
    • Seattle to New York: December 2-9 - $104
    • Seattle to Miami: January 6-14 -$94
    • Seattle to Boston: February 4-9 - $104
Not all of the flights are worth the extra effort required to depart from Seattle, but some definitely are. For example, an AirTran round-trip flight to Miami from January 6-14 will cost you $237.60 US with all taxes and fees -- the cheapest option out of Vancouver with Air Canada on the same dates is $760.71. You can avoid the hassle and expense of driving to Seattle and parking at the airport by taking the Quick Shuttle from Vancouver -- a round-trip fare from downtown Vancouver to Seattle's Sea Tac Airport will cost you about $90.

As with most seat-sale offers, you'll have to do some searching to find the best prices, and it helps if your travel dates are flexible. Flights are subject to availability and sale flights have to be booked by November 10, so don't delay, book now!
