A PlayStation Now subscription gets you access to hundreds of PS3 games, including PlayStation exclusives, hits, indie games, and more. Games available for play on PS Now include:

  • God of War III
  • God of War Ascension
  • Uncharted 1,2, and 3
  • The Last of Us

It's important to note that PS Now is a streaming service. Speed and performance of the games largely depends on your internet connection and the device you're streaming on. You may want to consider trying out a free 7-day trial of PS Now before spending $99.99 on the service.

This offer is available for a limited time only beginning December 8. This deal is open to both new and existing PS Now members. If you're an existing member, your discount subscription period will be added to the end of your current subscription. Click here to learn more about this offer.

    • That's a great deal! I tried the trial and there are a few hiccups while streaming. I might try it again though at this price.

    • What kinds of speed do you need? Does the game content stream or does it download a certain amount to your system?

    • I tried this before.. the delay wasn't bad at all. I did notice it to be a pain in the ass for god of war quick time events though. It's a huge ymmv on your ISP.

    • This should be the regular price. 55% off again and I'd try.

    • Wow that's expensive even with the discount. I'd pay maybe $50/year for a service like that, but I'm cheap

Yes, that's the main selling point of Playstation Now. Your subscription works across PS3, PS4, and Vita.

    • I first need to play through my backlog of PS3 physical discs and THEN I'd consider a subscription to play the ones I haven't...I've got a long way to go between:Mass Effect 2/3, Dead Space 2/3, 3 Bioshock games, Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Max Payne, and the PS4 games I've been playing.

      First world problems....

    • PlayStation Now in Canada? LOL! My mom recently switched us from MTS to Shaw and now I know the pain of caps that millions of Canadians across the country feel. If PS Now was $8/month, I might try it to play specific games but at $99 it would be cheaper to just buy whatever I want to play on their limited selection.

Just to clarify, the game is processed on a remote server/computer. It then streams the gameplay to you. Your inputs are then streamed back to the remote server. You're essentially watching a video. The input delay is fine. I wouldn't play twitch/reflex games, but RPGs and Simulators are A-OK.

Um, 100/12 = 8.33 a month. So seems like that is in your 8/month range, unless the 33 cents is a deal breaker.

    • $55/year just to experience the input lag

    • Not a bad deal for people that missed playing PS3 games, and want a huge selection of games to choose from. I'm getting it just for all the trophies.\

People can laugh or call it a *****ty service all they want, but it provides games that my internet is more than capable of handling, and a ***** ton of trophies. And, best of all, it makes the PS3 even more useless to own.

$100/year. And there's no lag if you have an internet connection that is of this century...

    • The hilarity of some...Netflix runs most $120 a year. Old movies too. Yet this $99 is bad? Get out of here.

I've experience a hiccup here or there but same with Netflix.

You're not paying for the games: you're paying for the streaming service.
