    • Pretty decent deal which can only get better. Too bad I already have half of the "vault" library on the XB1. Only problem people may have would be the memory the game takes but I can't see why anyone should have 10 games fully installed at once lol

    • Long time Xboxer, (origunal and X360), just recently got a PS4 for the sole reason to play NHL 15 with my EASHL team (which have all converted).

I am CHOKED about Sony rejecting this, I would have gotten it in a flash. So worth it just for the annual turnover of Sports games (even if they are a few months old by the time they release them to the "vault".

Makes me second guess my decision for sure.

    • Got it as soon as it came out. Cant go wrong with $30 a year of entertainment.

This is why exclusive content sells consoles not hardware specs.

Ya, but it's EA, so expected to be screwed over in the near future.

    • If they screw people over you can unsub. I will get my $30 worth just from the first 4 games. If content sucks next year I wont pay them.

    • I personally don't believe in renting games, but full credit to EA for trying something new.

Hopefully EA server issues won't lock you out of all titles simultaneously.

    • They already hiding Madden 15 demo being this pay wall. Let's see what else they have up their sleeves. You probably won't see nhl 15 in the vault until it's near its life cycle meaning this thing is effectively worthless

    • Anyone know the trade in amount for Madden at FS/BB?

    • Okay deal for new console owners but for existing, it's not that gooD. I'll wait till more quality titles get added first. The good thing is they said they will only be adding titles in and not taking any out but we'll see how true it is later down the road.

I doubt that is how it will work.
Isn't EA famous for shutting down MP servers for sports games pretty early to make people move onto the new version of the game?

For those that are unaware, EA just launched a new service (EA Access) which allows you to play/download games for $4.99/Month or $29.99/Year. It is being released today.
      Image
There are 4 games (the "vault") that come with the service for now: Fifa 14, Madden 25, Battlefield 4 and Peggle 2.
Once you subscribe you'll be able to download these games on Xbox Live. The games that come with the service will be available for download forever (as long as you are a subscriber) and EA said they will continue to add titles to the "vault". With this service you also be able to preview new EA games 5 days before the release date (ex Play Fifa 15 5 days before it is released) and you also get 10% off Digital purchases of EA games for Xbox One, downloadable content and virtual currency made available on Xbox Live.

Only available for Xbox One (Sony rejected). Pretty good deal imo. More info here http://www.ea.com/news/join-ea-acces...=1407779258084
      Pretty good deal. Thanks

    • For people who play these sports games, it's probably not a bad deal since you'd pretty much want to buy the newest version each year. Something about renting and not owning is something I am not fond off, so even if I had a xbox one not sure if I would get this.

    • This is an amazing deal, that will only get better.. although shame I have fifa 14, peggle 2 and BF4. The rentals + 10% off digital doesn't really interest me, but once the vault fills up this could be deadly.

So lame for PS4 only owners to miss out on this. So much for their whole '4 the players' mantra...

    • The best thing to do is make a 10 year plan of your gaming based on your history and see where the money goes.

The subscription stuff should by way less, like 1/10th of your annual spending. In 10 years you should have about $6000 free

Also no game is worth $80, maybe $20 max brand new I think!

    • So I'm assuming they probably won't release all their new games in the vault.

Also, do you require Xbox live gold, or silver would do?

What would happen if you download the games and disconnect the xbox, would the games still run?

Such a lack of info...

    • I am expecting future ea games especially sports games will have lackluster initial contents but loaded with microtransactions and dlcs. Kinda like free 2 play except you have to pay monthly fees.
