I personally think the few times we've got coins from free apps were oversights.
This "should" show free apps that give Amazon coins, but whenever a free app shows up, it never gives the coins.
I make all my Amazon.com and Amazon.ca purchases using one account and the Kindle Country is set to Canada too! I really have no clue how some people have so much trouble with the site.
It's likely all the conflicting information that people provide to try and help with. Every Amazon App Store thread there are multiple solutions to the same problem.
We need to actually determine the criteria and have a blurb on the OP of these threads.
I'm assuming you don't have any devices on your Amazon account then. It's just like the Google Play store, you cannot download the .apk to your PC, you must install the Amazon App Store on your device and download the app/games through there.
I'm fairly sure the error message is caused by trying to make a download to a device that is not registered on Amazon.
13bucks for polaris

I was able to get it to work on my Nexus 5. To switch accounts, you'll have to uninstall the Amazon App store and reinstall.
Also I can't seem to download the apps from the pc because it states continue, and when I try to download through the amazon store app on my phone it shows Login Issue: An internal error occurred. This can can be caused by a lack of network connectivity, please make sure you have a good network connection.
Edit: Got the login issue fixed through amazon customer service, however I still can't get the apps through my pc shows continue "download amazon appstore"
Got most of them, even though they're not all compatible with current phone. Skipped PrintHand, was useless last time I tried it.
Wife is excited about Monopoly, so thanks for the .com info, got worried when .ca had it back up to $5. Still have trouble with PC digital content on .com, but no trouble getting the app.
A few others look like they might be fun, or worth trying at least.
They don't automatically download to your device so no worries there. Some might not like having tons of apps to sift through, but you can even remove them after the purchase from the Amazon site.

Still free on the .com side.

If you can't purchase it with your current account, just add a new 1-Click address that is from the USA. My Kindle country settings are set to Canada, so it's only checking the shipping address.
If so, pls teach me. That is pretty much my only gripte with SwiftKey. Everyone seems to like Swype better though
I've gotten so use to swiping with Google's new keyboard, but I'll give Swype another chance, since it's free.
LOL
BTW
Thanks op!
I have my dictionary on a Google doc, then I just select all, tap the Swype button and then tap "add all to dictionary"
no cloud service needed, which occasionally has crazy battery drain
And try reading their privacy policy on the cloud service. It's kinda disturbing.
Swiftkey isn't much better.
thanks op
