These rates are available for select travel dates in June, July & August.

If you plan to travel in fall, we spotted even lower prices! For a week travel in September, roundtrip flights from/to Toronto-Vancouver start at $464, taxes included.   Most definitely not.
  
  Westjet's website lists the pitch as 32 or 34 inches depending on the plane. And actually flying in them tells me it's definitely not 36 inches, except maybe in the exit rows.

  I just booked August 9 to 19th on Sunwing.ca for $495 taxes in.
  
  They are having sale on the Canadian flights. They don't fly to too many places in Canada but the Vancouver fare is decent. During last week's WJ seat sale, it was still about $550 tax in. Sunwings gives you 2 free bags up to 20kg combined. Planes are bit tight.
  
  Mentioned below, there's also a Seat Sale on AC but it goes until end of June only and no free bags for domestic flights on AC.

- Unfortunately SW does not fly out on Wednesday in Aug., I also noticed that the return flight is a red eye flight. We are collecting aeroplan miles and still waiting for AC seat sales for Aug., does anyone know that AC price will come down say less than $500 when the times comes closer? Does anyone remember last year seat sale from Air Canada and how low of the price that they will be for Aug.

- Was going to book, but the weight limitations on baggage can be tough if you have a lot to move. It's a combined (yes you read that right) 20 kg limit on both your carry-on and checked baggage.

  Although their baggage policy is quite confusingly written, my reading of it is that you get 5kg of carry on and 20kg of checked baggage. Although I could be wrong.

  You guys are right. My bad. I flew with Sunwing earlier in September so I can confirm that it's 25 kg total for domestic. If your checked baggage is over 20 kg by 1 kg+, they will also weigh your carry-on to check if it's overweight (i.e. so you can shift stuff around). If you're planning to pack a heavy carry-on, don't overpack on your checked baggage.

  Wanted to bring this back up as it's 2013 and Sunwing again has YYZ-YVR flights on sale (book by Mar 15 and save $200 on a round trip).
  
  YYZ-YVR, after discount with taxes is $545 round trip. Not quite as good as last year, but depending on the weekend it might be cheaper than AC or Westjet. Obviously look at AC and WJ before booking though, as right now you can get a deal close to the same price but with much better service.
  
  Example:
  Tues, Sep 3 - Tues, Sep 10 $545 on Sunwing, $591 on Westjet or AC (much better flight times, better seating, better entertainment, etc).

- Not to save money, but FYI, you can return to Toronto from Portland Oregon for $250. Toronto-Vancouver-Seattle-Portland-Toronto would make a nice trip for $550 plus bus/train fare.
