Originally posted May 1: Air Canada and WestJet have followed suit and are also offering a 50% discount on select flights to and from Eastern Canada. If you're interested, you'll need to complete your booking by May 4.

Here's how to redeem your discount:

AirCanada.com:

• Enter promo code PROMO28APR12 when booking a qualifying flight within Eastern Canada
• For US destinations flying out of Eastern Canada, enter promo code USPROMO28APR12
• Travel must be completed by June 22, 2012

The offer is valid on Tango base fares only. The promo code expires at midnight in the city of your departure.

WestJet.com:

• Enter promo code PCR15 and coupon code BT8FGWD when booking an eligible flight within Eastern Canada
• Travel must be completed no later than June 30, 2012

The promo code applies to base fares only and expires at 9:59 pm MT (10:00 pm EST).
