    • Thanks for the deal! Has anyone seen any recent deals on flights to Vegas (from YYZ or a nearby airport)? I've been hunting for some time and haven't seen anything much cheaper than the typical ~$450 per passenger. I'm looking to fly any time after May 1st, for 4-6 nights.

      Thanks!

    • I just paid $900ish for two round trip tickets from YVR to Vegas, four nights in a suite at the MGM Grande (two weekend days included), and two tickets for Ka. So, uuh, this is pretty cold.

    • I hate being dinged an additional "resort fee" by the casino (considering you are already paying a fair bit per night).

The deal itself seem decent (remember weekend nights always cost more).

Very good deal indeed...how much is it costing to fly out of YVR considering that you are from Ottawa.

In Vancouver now, never bothered to update my profile

For those of you in Vancouver, it's even cheaper to fly out of Bellingham... and as for where you look, honestly the Expedia packages are almost always the cheapest ones you can find, barring specific rare deals. They're far cheaper than what you get directly from the hotels and usually competitive with specific promotions from Travelzoo or whoever, except it's easier to search dates with Expedia.

I always fly out of Bellingham now unless it's in Nov, Dec, Jan, and the first part of Feb. The only problem with flying out of Bellingham in those months mentioned is the potential for snow and being grounded. This has happened to me a couple of times now during those wintery months. That airport, with it's popularity with those in the GVRD, has to get more snow removal equipment.

For anyone with experience flying out of YYZ, is this a price a couple could reasonably hope for? I've read in other threads on RFD that it can often be cheaper to find hotel and flight separately, but the $900 seems hard to beat that way.

+1. It's tough to beat the Expedia packages for Vegas sometimes. You really need to look at the inclusions like free meals, show tickets etc. because they often make/break the difference. The only other one is to watch Sunwing - sometimes there are last minute packages that are really cheap.

    • +1 for booking through expedia/hotwire etc...

I just came back from Las Vegas stayed at Aria hotel, 4 nights, airfare from YYZ (westjet) for just over $700 taxes in.
Yes there is an additional $20+taxes per day hotel fee added on top of ALL stays.
