Hotels.com: First 15,000 Reservations Save An Extra 10% With Promo Code, Book By September 14

Hotels.com Promo Code
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

If you're planning on a hotel stay before March, 2013 you might want to book it through Hotels.com now -- they're offering a 10% discount to the first 15,000 people that book with the coupon code AUGUSTCA10.

This coupon code can be applied to hotel stays up until March 31, 2013 when you book by September 14 (while quantities last). There is a limit of one coupon redemption per person, so even if you cancel your first reservation you will not be able to redeem the 10% on another reservation.

Note: Most major chains are excluded from this promotion. For a complete list of excluded properties and coupon terms and conditions, visit this page.

    • I can confirm this works. I found the coupon on retailmenot.com, and saved 10% off a booking on Long Island for next week.

    • Thanks for the code, need to book hotels for Rome and Istanbul this fall, will make a small dent in the price.

I agree Hotels.com is a good company to work with, much better than those evil snakes over at Travelocity!

    • Thanks OP, coupon used in Buffalo for next weekend. The prices are ridiculously high, this helped bring it down a bit. They also have a price match guarantee if you find it cheaper elsewhere they will match the lower price.

    • Has anyone combined this with a corporate rate (didn't see it in the exclusions) successfully? I've never used the site so I'm not sure if they even allow these.

    • For those who have used hotel.com before. Have you ever had to cancel a hotel booking before, and are there any service/additional charges whatsoever? Can you cancel and get back 100% back at any time? If you can, is cancelling simple enough online or does one have to haggle with an agent in order to cancel? Please advise before I book? Thanks

    • As long as the hotel has free cancellation, canceling a reservation is as easy as a mouse click. Be sure to save your cancellation confirmation number until it has been processed by your credit card.

    • Actually some booking have no cancellation (ie final sale). During the booking it will tell you whether it is a "no-cancellation" booking. Normally, these are the lowest price ones.
      Just check when you book.

    • booked the other day, saved a bunch, thanks!

doesnt look like Best Western will match the price (to get $100 travel card if you find lower price) as it is a coupon and not the acutal lower room rate.

I just tried to use the code and it came back with an error saying that it cannot be used. I think the code is already expired. Based on the fine print:

      3. This offer is only valid for the first 15,000 bookings using the coupon code by the deadline set forth above. You will have the opportunity to confirm the coupon code is still valid prior to completing your booking.

Maybe the 15,000 bookings has already been reached.

    • For people who use the Hotels.com/.ca Welcome Rewards program it is really not that great of a deal; Welcome Rewards seems to give you 10% off (11th day free) and when using this code you are not eligible for the Welcome Rewards.
