View allI love the fact that it syncs with the tv remote so one controller is needed for soundbar and TV
At least I'm happy with the TV.
One question I have..the speakers aren't great. I'd like to add a soundbar. Any recommendations? I'm in a condo so nothing huge
So I turned to Bestbuy Canada's customer service line for help. The biggest obstacle was to find someone who is fully trained and completely understands the companies policies and wants to help. It took a four calls over the last few days until I was able to get someone higher in the chain to listen and escalate my case.
So yesterday I received a phone call from BB corporate in B.C. the person I spoke with was great, he is going to investigate further what happened at the store and he did the $599 price match + tax and a discount on my next online order.
I am stoked that I was finally able to get resolution here but it took major time and hassle for me to go through all of this, so not sure I would do it again. It really should be a lot less effort for the customer as it was way too many hoops to jump through.
It was so close)) I mean who knows, maybe it will still go through.
I am trying to see if i can pick it up at the store instead as there's stock at my store.

I did want to call them on Monday actually but was way too sceptical to even try.
anyone else have luck?
Yep....their email is customerservice@bestbuycanada.ca and use the screen shot that somebody has provided (on one of the previous pages)
I will give it a try also.
Couldn't be happier - ridiculous deal on this tv.
Unfortunately I can't walk into any local Bestbuy to do this as they will not honour it
What irks me is although they will provide a price match they are not taking into consideration that they sold a customer a defective TV in the first place !!! There was also the time to travel out there (almost an hour) as well as the hassle of returning the following day with over an hour drive to go to another location to do the exchange and return home.
Also, it seems this particular model cannot be tilt wall mounted and only set straight which may be a deal breaker for me unless I can figure out a workaround.
I was surprised how easy it was! Happy customer!
Note that i already had the TV. (bought it 2 day ago at 799$ + tx)
