If it's a big HDTV at a low price you're after, you'll want to take a look at this Best Buy offer! The Dynex 60" 1080p 120hz LED HDTV (DX-60D260A13) is on sale for $799.99 online and in-store. The $800 price point is as good a price as we've seen for a 60" 120Hz LED HDTV.

This looks to be a brand new product from Dynex, so we haven't seen anything in the way of reviews yet. Dynex is a value brand, but our impression from online reviews and RFD community itself is Dynex's quality and reliability are pretty good these days. They might not come out ahead against brand name models that are 50% more expensive, but this is definitely worth a look if you're a bargain hunter with a 60" hole in your home theatre.

    • Didn't even know dynex made 60" tv's. Almost half the price of a similar name brand set.

I don't think that they did until now. I think this has just been introduced in the last few days.

For those in the GTA, I believe that the Eaton Center, Best Buy and Future Shop stores are open today, so if FS has this in stock, or listed on their computer at $1199, a PM for $759 should be doable.

    • kind of small don't you think?

Plus, I am not sure what you are buying. From their page

      What's in the Box?

      Remote
      Bag

Way to put in the details Bestbuy. Sorry, just trolling.

    • I have a Dynex 32" TV. It was cheap at $199 for the basement. Works great but the color, hue etc is horrible. Maybe if I calibrated but hardly watch it.

    • doesnt seem to be in store for FS here, so would have to pay shipping which probably negates the price match. Might see if BB has one in stock to look at.. throw on a cheap extended warranty from costco for safe measures.

I only see $50 for delivery here for this TV. Are you in an isolated location or maybe it's a postal code error? Maybe try another code from a nearby town.

Can you get the Costco Square Trade Warranty on TV's purchased at other stores? If so, I wonder if it is combine-able with a free 1 year credit card warranty extension?

Even if this 60" Dynex hasn't reached the FS stores yet, it is likely that the stores will have a listing for it and stock available in the warehouse for stores. If so, a PM is still possible, you would have to wait for a unit to arrive at the store for pick up, once you have paid for it, though.

It could have something to do with the fact that you are far away from a BB distribution center. The closest BB to you is probably hundreds of KMs away.

Ouch. Kinda kills it for you then I guess.
Just a thought, but if you really want one of these, maybe you could call BB or FS customer service and see if they have alternate delivery options. I can't believe that they couldn't get one to you for less than $250. $75-$100 I could understand, but $250 is crazy.

    • yeah i called them to know what that 250$ was and it is because of the size of the package it need a special delivery for any tv bigger than 44'' because they cant use post canada when it's bigger than that pretty strange because i work for canada post and seen many 46''inch and up shipped to us.... it's probally the distance i dont know... i can order tv from walmart or sears and they dont ask 250 bucks to get a tv here.
