When do you renegotiate the terms by the way?
if you download a game like doom, that's automatically 60GB, if you stream a few movies/football games after you are screwed.

Unlimited 1 GB Internet + NEW Popular TV including HD PVR box and land line for only $109.98 for 2 years!!! Had it booked to be installed in 2 days. Way better than calling Rogers head office. Great guy and very professional. I have is info for anyone interested.
Both are about the same speed, but bell has 350GB usage for 8 months and Rogers has 300GB usage for 12 months
The gentleman I spoke to was very kind, his name is Aaron and it is the student plan.
They gave me a hard time when I called to cancel a single service but when I called to cancel multi-product they added the student deal no problem. They'll ask for a student ID # & e-mail. If you're a non student I heard the Chinese line gives this deal without student ID #/E-Mail
I will check my bill at the end of the month to confirm it is $40/month
I also skimmed over a post saying this deal is now available to anyone in Ontario (including non-students). Is this true?
Thanks for the help.
I'm very happy.
I'll try again later.
In chat they first told me that it's only for the bundles at that price, but after threatening to consider finding a new internet provider (lol) they put me on 'hold' and discovered that it really is cheaper now ($60) as a stand alone.
Good luck.
Didn't ask if I was still student, just account info and added it in.
If they tell you error is happening, let them know to remove techXpert. After they removed that everything worked fine.
first lady had no idea... they applied a loyalty code to my account to get the price..
Is there any way I can switch to the new $40 student plan and extend my expiry by another year?
Or is the only way to cancel my current Rogers account and re-sign up again to become a new customer? I can use my cell phone internet for a while.
Does anyone know how long before Rogers considers you to be a new customer again?
