Mobilicity

Mobilicity: Unlimited Data, Talk, Global Text, NA Long Distance, VM, CID $35/mo (New Activations)

Mobilicity Unlimited $35/mo Plan (Reg. $45/mo)
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

If you're not getting as much value out of your cell phone plan that you think you could be, Mobilicity has a very good limited time offer you might want to consider. Those of you looking to change things up might benefit from their current $35/month promotion which includes the following:

  • Unlimited Data
  • Unlimited Canada-Wide Talk
  • Unlimited Text
  • Unlimited North American Long Distance
  • Unlimited Global Text
  • 30 Minutes North American Voice Roaming
  • Voicemail, Caller ID and Call Features

Some terms and conditions do apply, however, as the plan is only available for new activations and while the account remains active with Mobilicity on automatic monthly payments. If you can adhere to both of those terms, and are comfortable within the zone coverage, this is one of the better value plans available.

The promotion is live now but we're not quite sure when it'll end. If you're interested, you'll want to visit the dealer nearest you for more information.

    • good deal, but they are in talks to sell or restructure in 2014. It could either wind up being a grandfathered deal with whomever buys them out(maybe even dropped if a company like telus buys out), or you get to keep it permanently with mobi(restructured) through 2014.

    • Seems like the plan is for as long as your account remains active...
...and on auto monthly payments. It's $40 without auto monthly payments.

I got this email/offer after canceling an account since I stopped receiving the 50% off promo @ $12.50.

You could always try calling them up and using the REWARD code.

    • That's great and all but my buddy raves about Mobi and then one time we were in Richmond, BC and he can't get reception to make a phone call. This was just a few blocks away from Richmond hospital. He smiles sheepishly and says ya that happens sometimes. LOL

There are several different models of the iPhone 5 that utilize different frequencies/technologies: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/

From what I gathered, none of them support Wind/Mobilicity or have the correct pentaband frequencies...could you please confirm?
(if so, is it just the iPhone 5 or would iPhone 4 models also work...)

    • If you don't need the North American LD or 30 min of Roaming, your best deal is the $27/mo plan for 12 mos ($25 plan with unlimited data, north american texting, and voicemail)...for $2 more you get global texting.

I called up a few stores and dealers ...they all told me that they may not be getting another 50% off all plans promo for a while since it "broke them financially."

It was around this time last year that they offered 50% off all plans for Mothers day weekend. Also, I believe that this weekend would have been their 2nd anniversary and no 50% off.

The slightly refreshed iPhone 5 only will work on on Wind and Mobilicity (it's the one that's supported on T-Mobile, and sold after mid-April)

Every new iPhone 5 sold after April 12th at an Apple store or from any carrier will now work on Wind/Mobi. Here is a previous thread of mines. http://forums.redflagdeals.com/iphon...-mobi-1321477/

Wind Mobile has already tweeted it and updated their facebook status confirming it. They are working on making sims for the iPhone 5. Not sure if they already have it.

Here's an unlocked iPhone 5 working on Wind from Mobilesyrup. http://mobilesyrup.com/2013/04/12/im...n-wind-mobile/

Which plan is this? On their site it says the $25/month one doesn't include voicemail and data http://mobilicity.ca/plans/ . If it exists, I want it!

The $25 one he is referring to is a promo they are having. I don't see it on their site.
