Summer is almost here, and that means it's about time to break out your bikes for the season! Over in the RFD Cycling Thread, forum user mikeymike1 gave us a heads up that this month, the Toronto Cyclists Union has teamed up with local bike shops to provide free tune ups across the city to help ensure you have a safe ride.

Every Tuesday this month, a different location will be offering a free bike safety check or basic tune up. Here's where you'll find them:

• May 8: Bike Pirates at Linux Caffe (Grace & Harbord)
• May 15: Bikechain at the Art Gallery of Ontario (Dundas & Beverley)
• May 22: Evergreen Bike Works at the Prince Edward Viaduct Parkette (across from Caste Frank Station)
• May 29: Cyclepath Norco at Oriole Park (near Yonge & Chaplin)

Tune Up Tuesdays run from 5-8PM.
