Answer to your questions is 'NO'.
When you amortize over a longer period, your principal/interest payments would be different between 5yrs vs. 10yrs. However, I would assume that if you were to choose a 10yr amortization that your 2nd payment would only be towards principal (vs. just making an additional payment). Any payments made purely towards the principal saves you on the interest that you would have been making on it.. but I'm not sure what the overall benefit is versus taking the 5yr amortization.
I have been to the sample sales in the past about two times, missed the fall one because I had class. I will have to time to check the one coming up. I am looking for a new bag so hopefully they have some Hot Shots or Big Shot. They are usually around $65 in the past for one if anyone wants to know.
and sorry for the thread hijack
Do they accept CC or cash only?
makes no difference if you do 5yr ammortization with payment $2000 or 10yr amortization with pmnt $1000 and do double up payment. The 10yr one is actually much better cause if you run into financial problems, you can ask the bank to skip future payments/or you're only obligated to $1000 a month. Some banks will let you skip payments if you did double up payments.
Other things I noted are:
- There seems to be a huge selection of women's clothing compared to men's (there are multiple rooms of women's clothing compared to the 1 room for men's clothing)
- Lots of winter jackets available (I saw a men's Gotham jacket there as well for $220) as well as gore-tex jackets
- Cash only (as most people are aware of by now)
- Not too much selection of infant / toddler clothing
How's prices on sleeping bags? Thinking of picking up a couple..though prob still be cheaper for me to buy US.
