January 27 update: It looks like this freebie is half over -- you can still get the Facebook Timeline cards for free, but you will now be charged for shipping and handling (came to $7.50 on a test order to Ontario). This is still a decent deal if you've been wanting your own set of business cards. There 150,000 cards to be given away as part of this promotion.

Originally posted January 6: Have you switched over to the new Facebook Timeline yet? Here's a neat freebie from Moo.com for those of you who have made the switch. Right now, Moo.com is offering packs of 50 free business cards based on the Timeline cover photo concept. The cards will show your name, company or education, where you live and your contact information. You can also add a line of text to the back of the card. You can use up to 50 different cover photos for the cards.

Here's how to get your cards:

• Navigate to your "About" page
• Scroll down and click on the little icon next to "Contact Info". A preview of your card should appear
• Click on "Print Cards"

Because of high demand, they are only offering 5000 free packs of Facebook business cards a day. The free packs are released around "breakfast time" EST, so be sure to check back on when they are available. If you haven't switch to Timeline yet, you can do so here.
