If you're in Toronto, Montreal, or Ottawa, Air France has a great promo running (on the upper right of the page). Until October 29, 2009, you can get round trip fare to Paris, Rome, or Barcelona from $599 and that price includes taxes and surcharge.

This offer is for travel between December 24, 2009 and March 30, 2010 and you have to book by October 29, 2009 -- which is tomorrow! You might try out a few dates to find the cheap fares, but they do exist. We can think of a lot of ways to take advantage of this offer... a wonderful Christmas or Valentine's gift, for example!

    • great price, but not uncommon for off-season. paid about $900 earlier this year in the busy season.
      AC is decent, but I found Air France better.
      KLM also has the same price to many cities in europe now, but I did not like their flight to AMS. felt cramped, and I am not even tall.

    • Air Canada is 25$ cheaper than Air France for the same promo and you have 2 luggages instead of a 50$ surcharge...

      If you want to go somewhere else in Europe though, you should take Air France because Air Canada has only a promotion to Paris

      Don't know what you're talking about - my Air France itinerary clearly states "Allowance : 2 baggage", included in the $586.99. There was no $50 surcharge.

      Price aside...I think the deal here is the free stopover in Paris. Usually airlines don't permit stopovers on low fares or may do for a fee.

      You can do Dec 24-31 probably for the $599, or definitely 26-31

      nope, you can't. it comes to 1000. They should have said starting Jan 15 instead of Dec 24. It's a false advertisement. Shame on AF

      I managed to get 2 tickets to Rome/Paris for the Valentine's Day week for $1300.. it went up a bit, probably due to our dropping dollar.
