Tim Hortons: Small Flavoured Latte For $1
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

Here's a sweet offer for Timmies lovers! Starting on Monday (January 30), you can get any small flavoured latté at Tim Hortons for only $1. The flavoured espresso-latté, new to the Tims Café family, is made from Arabica beans and warm frothy milk. You can choose from these flavour shots: caramel, vanilla, hazelnut or mint chocolate.

Keep in mind that a small-sized hot beverage at Tim Hortons right now is the same size as their old medium cups for hot drinks. To learn more about their new cup sizes or to preview the new specialty latté menu, visit TimHortons.com. You can get updates on Timmies' promotions and events from their Facebook Page. The $1-flavoured-latté is a limited-time offer and available at participating Tim Hortons locations only.

That's what the flyer said the other day I was in there. I went online and filled out their contest survey though. Told them to just drop the X-Small. Why have 5 sizes? Plus who orders that urine sample cup size anyway?

Surprisingly people actually order it, used to work at Tim Hortons.

    • Do their lattes come in decaf?
No. I guess if you get a Tea latte, and throw in a bag of decaf.

    • Their latte's are horrible, seriously save your money... I ordered the caramel latte and not even a hint of caramel in it. Definitely not a good way of introducing yourself into latte's if you've never had one before

    • the caramel is the syrup on top. did it at least have whip cream on it?

    • i had the caramel latte once...HORRID!
it had a foamy topping with coco dust & was VERY bitter, i guess u have to add your own sugar to taste. I will stick to the french Vanillas.

I used to love the French Vanilla cappuccinos... they're delicious. But then I saw the nutritional info... 9 grams of saturated fat in a medium. I stopped drinking them. For comparison, look at the latte.

(I added the flavour shot separately... the only flavoured lattes on their website were the supreme ones, and it's not fair to compare to a drink with whip cream).

Last time they had their promotion, I OD'd on their French Vanilla Supreme.

They were (are) so good... Towards the end of the 2 weeks, I just had enough... Too sweet, and switched back to reg coffees.

Had nothing to do with what's inside, even though I knew it couldn't be good for me.

    • The $1 mcd iced coffee was a good deal.

I bought a large at tim hortons just a few days ago when the cup size change was effective only to find that they gave me the old one.

What a rip off. &the lattes taste horrible. No coffee taste whatsoever.

Agreed. Think it has to do with the terrible espresso they use. Tried a latte, then tried an espresso. Both were pretty awful, so I'm guessing the espresso is the source of the problem. Hope the execs at Timmy's rethink the current direction they're trying to go, before it's too late. No company is bulletproof, and can do no wrong -- just ask RIM.

Same here. I tried them twice and never again. Once my Cappuccino was sweetned, which they apparently do by default. The next time, I asked for it without sugar and it was still horrible. You need good STRONG coffee for making Espresso drinks. But strong and Tim's doesn't go together, so this is a fail. The first time they tried Espresso drinks in selected outlets (3 years ago?), the coffee was actually quite good, but they stopped the pilot, likely because the machines were always jamming.

I find Tim Horton's coffee so weak, that it's more like coffee-flavoured water. No wonder people put so much cream and sugar in it.

    • When I tried the French Vanilla Cappuccino a few months ago, it tasted like it was made from powder. Does anyone know if they're made from powder (like their apple cider) or from actual fresh espresso shots?

French Vanilla Cappuccino and English Toffee Cappuccino are both made from powder (the same stuff that you can buy from them in a tin, like hot chocolate). It's all put into a machine, mixed with hot water, then dispensed when ordered.
