Shoppers Drug Mart is holding a big Super Save Saturday sale for one day only tomorrow. Prices do vary depending on your region so check your local flyer online before heading to the stores. Here's some of the highlights from the Ontario flyer:

- thanks OP. just curious, in the bonus points redemption, how does refunds work? so i buy $100 worth of stuff and redeem 40,000 pts. what happens if i return $50 worth of stuff another day? would they put $50 on gift card? will they take into account the bonus redemption? thanks.

  It is also 10% off at Rexall, PharmaPlus until tomorrow. A Costco sells them for that price too but in quantity of 100. I bought 100 to avoid paying extra next year.

  20 x 500 (10 points per dollar) = 10k; $100 would net 20k points.

  It has been noted in the past that their system does not differentiate between purchases. That being said to play it safe you can purchase a small cosmetics item and your should be able to redeem your points.

  yup... 20x for >$50 is better! Someone on another site posted that a new store was anouncing next 20x event will be Nov 29. Not sure if it's store specific though. Here's hope it'll be chain wide

  Maybe, because during a similar bonus redemption for cosmetics, everything was eligible for the bonus points, contrary to the ad. The reason for this apparently is due to the computer unable to distinguish between non-cosmetic and cosmetic items.
  
  What we need is a guinee pig. So the first SDM customer, please report to this forum to discuss if non-cosmetics items are eligible for the bonus point redemption. And the best to do so are you Eastern guys since you are 3 hours ahead of us in the West.

  Yes, the regular first class rate for mail in Canada is .52 but it will be going up to .54 in January, 2009.

- The computer is already programmed to redeem 75k for $200. I don't think you even need to purchase cosmetics for this.
  
  It also depends on the cashier if he/she wants to let you redeem. Seeing you have nothing in cosmetics.
  
  I didn't try, but on my bill I see I can redeem 75k for $200. I only bought batteries windshield washers and stamps.

  Buy a 250.00 SDM Gift card and you'll receive instantly 2500 Optimum REGULAR points to bump you up to Plus.
  
  Bonus points don't count towards Optimum Plus status.
