Go back to Subway when you go back to school this year and earn a free sandwich during the Subway Card Event. You'll get a free regular 6" sub when you buy $25 in Subway gift cards.

To qualify you must load or reload your $25 gift card in store and redeem your free sub at the same time. Double meat, extra cheese, and/or bacon will incur extra charges if you select them as toppings on your free sub.

There's a limit of one free sub per gift card purchase or reload. Check with your local Subway restaurant to see if they are participating, you can find your nearest location with their store locator.

- Subway has pretty crappy gift cards. The one time I got one, the balance on the card got wiped out in less than a week. Fortunately I was at the store I bought the card at, so the owner was able to back track the balance somehow. Regardless, it was a pain, so won't bother with it again.

  According to the Terms of Service (ToS) on their website, offer is not applicable when using a gift card to purchase another gift card and free sub is offered only at the time of gift card purchase.

  If this is true, best thing would be to get $25 worth of food. Feed the family in one go.

- I've done this promotion many times (just did it today) and never had a problem. In fact, I log into the website and monitor/transfer amounts to cards!
  
  BTW. I can easily see a card being using in a week as the average meal (sub+drink) is way over $5 so over the 5 days in a week, the card is empty!
