    • Oh man, and I was planning to go no carb starting January. Subway is the perfect convenience fast food, thanks OP

    • Yeah, this is not much savings at all.

I've noticed all Subways here in Winnipeg just increased their sub prices by $0.25 or so - it's the yearly inflation.

The egg salad sub is all day - it's not a breakfast sandwich.

Some subways refuse to let you buy a footlong for $6. They make you buy two 6-inches for $6. It's very stupid.

isnt 2x 6inches the sames as a footlong? cause when u buy a footlong they cut the footlong in 1/2 anyways so its identical.

Also isnt buying 2x 6" for $3 each cheaper then buying 1 footlong for $6 after tax?

    • Weak. How do they keep opening these stores in Canada at the current menu prices? I don't hate Subway but paying more than $6 for a premium sub is too much in today's marketplace.

Fun fact : Bread = carbohydrate,

      Eggs at 2$ a dozen, unless you're really lazy, , this feels like a rip-off, ,,,

    • Actually this works for me. Though the key is "participating restaurants". Every one around me is owned by a bunch of a$$hole franchisee owners who don't honour these promos. They even put up the $5 footlong promo stickers, but all the sandwiches are $6.50+

    • I'm finding more and more Subways using wayyyyy too much mayo in their egg and tuna. I hardly eat Subway anymore because it's disgusting now.

    • Nice. They just opened up a Subway nearby in a new plaza next to my house. Been 2 to 3 months? Gonna check it out.

Edit: NVM LOL. Egg Sandwich or Ham. Pass. Might wanna add that in the title. Its VERY misleading lol.

    • Yeah egg salad isn't my thing. Ham wouldn't be a bad sub though... but this deal is certainly not much "appreciation" for their customers. LOL
