      Last I checked this was only available in the states. In Canada they just use liquid egg and microwave or toaster oven it.

      Still a great deal though, glad to see them matching the U.S. deal. (If only they'd match the $3.00 combo deal for a 6" and a drink)

      this is the first i've heard about msg in coffee, although i dont drink coffee so wouldnt be able to tell

      i hope this is in every subway, not just "participating locations"

      Ummm you obviously don't know what MSG is. No, it's not in any Subway sandwhiches. From their website:

      The SUBWAY® brand does not add MSG to any of the standard menu items. However, other ingredients such as hydrolyzed or textured vegetable proteins and/or autolyzed yeast are used in our products. These ingredients contain glutamates that may cause similar sensitivities that MSG causes. To find out which foods at SUBWAY® contain autolyzed yeast and hydrolyzed protein, visit the nutrition section of the website to view ingredient listings. There is also a document in the nutrition section, called “Ingredient Information for People with Food Allergies” which identifies menu items that contain these two ingredients. Snack chips and pre-packaged salad dressings sold in our restaurants may contain MSG, so make sure to read the ingredient list on the package.

      Wait wait wait... you're telling me there's vegetables in this thing? I want my cholesterol free of vegetables, thanks.

      Also, I'm very intolerant to MSG (although it's hard to figure out why since it's just a glutamate, we kind of require it to live). Generally it's never in anything besides sauces (if you go to anywhere that says "no MSG added" then just watch the sauces you eat and you'll be fine), so long as you don't buy any sauces that have a high chance of MSG in it you'll never have any problem with most places, Subway included. Plus there is no MSG in coffee, ever, you just got sucked in by this urban legend.
