Starbucks: Get $5 Free by Registering a SB GC

If you're a fan of Starbucks but haven't registered a Rewards Card as of yet, here's a good opportunity to take advantage of a sweet limited time promotion. Until March 14, new members who register a Rewards Card will get $5 absolutely free. That's right -- by simply activating a card you'll get $5 added to the balance of your existing card. We've never turned down $5 free-ish dollars before and we aren't about to start now!

That's all there really is to it -- register a new card, get $5. More information can be found at the Starbucks website and from this FAQ. The deal ends March 14.

- Plus I believe if you register, you get a free drink (any drink and size) on your birthday. From my experience you don't have to use it on your actual birthday but will expire after a few weeks.

  Just bring the printed E gift certificate you already have from the living social.. but the balance will be $15 instead of $10 on it now. (since it's registered)

  I literally cannot see how Starbucks will allow this promo to go on till 03/14. If you can figure out how to simply exploit it (as already shown in this thread) then this promo is just a gold-mine.

  Login on the starbucks website. There you can transfer and/or unregister the card.
