Here's a pretty sweet freebie posted by forum user exstasie. By simply entering the Starbucks Name Your Blend, Canada contest, you can get yourself a free tall Blonde Roast. You read correctly: For a minute or two of your time you can get a free coffee from Starbucks.

The fine print mentions that round one of the contest ends on February 10 which is a safe date to assume that's when the promotion will end. There's lots of time to take part in the freebie but remember you'll need to print and present the coupon at the register.

    • I couldn't do it multiple times. It let me name it once. It goes to a download coupon link afterwards and tells me I can try again tomorrow. Maybe they fixed it now so you can only name it once a day.

      I did this and can confirm it works. A different barcode is generated but the number at the bottom stays the same.

      Worked for me at work Need to uninstall the coupon printer setup though... If we try again tomorrow, will the expiry date be the day after? I.e. the 30th?

      EDIT: Coupons.com coupon printing software will not print to a PDF printer... nonsense. It's basically a background app to facilitate printing when your Browser can already do so. So I presume it is also doing something else; good that I installed on a VM.
      It's b/c the printing software is suppposed to prevent you from being able to print it several times again in the future.

      You can probably try and print it a few times (create a copy of the one you printed). I know for me at the Starbucks downtown Toronto, they NEVER scan any coupons they give you...especially for a free coffee. They just take the coupon usually and don't even ring anything in

      did anyone try redeeming the coupon? did they scan the barcode?
      my barristor kept scanning the barcode, and didn't work. are they suppose to just ring the code 972?
      anyway, she tried at least 3x, and gave up, and just handed me a coffee without ringing it in

    • I got the same problem. The first one scanned and not went thru and did not allow me to use the coupon.
      The second location scanned the coupon several times and it did not go thru.
      They handed me a free coffee anyway
      Is it a joke? OR it's not legit??
