    • For $13.99 at Pizza Pizza you get a free 2 for 1 Cineplex Movie Ticket with the purchase of a large Pizza + 3 toppings + 2 cans of Coke + Dipping Sauce!

      https://pizzapizza.hs.llnwd.net/o33/static/PPLPhoenix/images/products/EN/featured/11784.jpg

Pizza Pizza has come out with new deals that will replace the old $13.99 special (which was any size 3 toppings pizza + 2 Cokes + dipping sauce). The extra large pizza has been eliminated from the old deal but you now get a 2 for 1 cineplex movie ticket. Also available for the same price is a deal that includes everything else but comes with a whole grain crust and 2 water bottles instead of coke.
This is NOT correct!! I bought the "Any Size" deal yesterday and I just checked website and it is still there!

The $13.99 "any size" pizza deal is still on which is :
      $13.99--Extra Large+3 toppings+2 cokes+ dipping sauce

The deal you mention "movie deal" is :
      $13.99--Large+2 for 1 movie pass+3 toppings+2 cokes+ dipping sauce

so essentially for $13.99 if you want an Extra Large pizza go with the "Any Size" deal, if you want a Large Pizza+2for1 movie go with the "Movie Deal".

Yup, I didn't notice that the old deal was still up. I thought it would be replaced by now. My mistake- thanks for pointing that out.

    • Also note the Alberta-division Pizza 73 has a similar deal, only you get 2x9" pizzas with 2 toppings, 2 sodas and the 2 for 1 cineplex for $16.99. Not as good as the Pizza Pizza one, but pretty decent.

    • They delivered the wrong pizza.... so I called in, and ended up getting another Two pizzas, 2 cans of pop and the 2 for 1 for 13.99, delivery and tax

    • Thanks! Ordered and I'm enjoying the pizza right now.

The 2for1 pass is valid feb 6 - April 29, 2012... no restrictions on day of week but "not valid for non-feature film ent, advance ticket purchase or midnight performances and not eligible to earn scene points"... so pretty good deal.

There is a code for 250 Scene points that comes up after purchasing but there is no place on Scene website to enter the code... I called SCENE and they mentioned that this deal ended in October and that they filed a complaint with PizzaPizza.... so no 250 points!!

Came out to $19.48 after $3.25 delivery charge plus taxes. I like that you can customize your pizza any way you like it - i divided my pizza in half with 3 toppings on one half and a different 3 toppings on the other so I can enjoy two different "types" of pizza.

    • Pizza Pizza has the worst and most generic pizza out there but if you get a large pizza plus pop plus 2 movie tickets for $14 then it's too good to be true.

So where do you get the ticket from? Do they mail it or do you pick it up after the pizza? And does this only work when you order online? I'm guessing you can use it on any regular movie a few days after release?

Excellent! I was curious about the movie restrictions and expiry. I have another cineplex voucher which came with a purchase of Pillsbury Pizza pops that requires an online redemption to buy the tickets.

In the past when I used Pizza Pizza cineplex 2 for 1 coupons I was able to go straight to the theatre and present the coupon for redemption when purchasing the tickets, and they gave scene points on the one ticket that I paid for. Either way it's still a cheap night out for dinner and a movie.

I do enjoy movies but I don't often watch them, and when I do, I'd rather enjoy them in the comfort of my own home rather than some stinking theatre full of annoying strangers, all the while paying an arm and a leg for it. It really bothers me to sit there and share an experience with a bunch of random smucks. There's never been a movie that excited me enough to coax me into a theatre... I can wait. I don't understand needing to see a movie right away. And there's SO many junk movies out there I can totally do without.

Heck, even when I do watch a movie, it's rarely even on a home theatre. It's usually on my phone or labtop when I'm stuck somewhere and need to kill time. Just can'tseem to allocate 2 solid hours in front of a TV when there's so much else that I could be doing.

Now if only drive-ins made a comeback....and sold beer.

    • Yea I would have been all over this before me and the gf just can't deal with movie theatres anymore. Go to a comedy and all you hear is annoying people laughing hysterically at every other word because they feel they have to. Don't even think about going opening night / weekend / first tuesday because theatre will be rammed and ridiculously noisy.

Honestly I feel I'm in the minority now-a-days as someone who likes watching movies in peace and quiet. So we strictly watch from home now much better experience. Oh and after starting to work fll time and making better $$$ I can't bring myself to order pizza pizza over dominos or mom and pop shop.
