Basically, you pick your pasta and sauce of choice (there are six pastas and five sauces to choose from) and they will refill your bowl as much as you like. The offer includes unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks as well. Here's what you can choose from:

Pasta:

  • Spaghetti
  • Fettucine
  • Whole Wheat Linguine
  • Penne
  • Linguine
  • Angel Hair

Sauces:

  • Chianti Three Meat
  • Classic Alfredo
  • Marinara

And for an extra $2.95, you can add unlimited meatballs, sausage or chicken to your order. The OliveGarden.ca site notes that prices may vary in Canada, so you may want to check with your server before ordering.

    • Yeah, unfortunately there are no locations in Toronto. They should open some here.

I have been to Olive Garden in US, amazing restaurant.

    • OP you should be ashamed of yourself for tempting me with this post.......I so miss the Olive Garden....closest is in NY state.....Use to have it in Pickering , now we have nothing but those crappy Kegs and such.

    • I love Olive Garden, it is actually a mandatory stop on very trip to the US... I hate that they closed all Olive Garden's in GTA or converted them to Red Lobsters which in my opinion is not a good restaurant...

I don't know what they're smoking by not having AT LEAST 1 in the GTA. People would travel to THAT location to eat there, seriously. My girlfriend would make me lol

    • I went to Olive Garden in the US a few weeks ago and it was probably the only restaurant where I liked the Alfredo pasta. If the locations in the GTA closed I don't think one will open fairly close to me anytime soon !

Awesome deal if someone has one in their area, though.

    • Theres at least one in Edmonton near West Ed Mall, however it was riddled with cockroaches and a owner who didnt seem to want to deal with the issues. It was closed by the Health Authority but has been reopened since.

Mind you, I've been there once, their menu is different. Went there for lunch and they said they don't serve a lunch menu, so I would assume some specials they might not have it either.

But frankly it's a bit overrated IMO... it's not bad but it is a bit hyped up.

    • Yo man. They just changed restaurant manager... and then they let it re-open. I saw it on Global Edmonton and I was

There's still the southside one on Gateway Boulevard!

    • Mandatory stop in Niagara Falls/Buffalo. They did me a favour by opening the one next to the Walmart on Military Road in NF to save the drive to the Galleria - I'm sure it was just for us Canadians. Last time I was there it was 2pm on a Tuesday and it was STILL busy, albeit most of the license plates in the parking lot were Ontario.

I get the same thing every time - Tour of Italy with Marinara instead of Alfredo on the pasta with a 20 oz Blue Moon.

East Sides' is an okay substitute for me, but it's not the same.

    • Anyone knew why they pull out of GTA? They just seemed to vanish a few years ago. Too much competition from East Side Mario's?

Olive Garden>East Side Mario's, ESM's pasta is just like Libby's or Alpha Gettis/Chef Boyardee.

From what I remember it was mainly because they were losing money. Same reason why OUTBACK took off. Personally I don't like OG or ESM but ESM is better quality in my opinion. More expensive too. Funny how they stayed and OG left although I understand why. Higher employee wages, higher transportation costs, higher food costs(can't always ship stuff from the states) and people still wanting unlimited food at the same cheap price the states has=why they left Canada.
Is it me or does the Fetticune Alfredo sauce taste the same as Classicos brand?

I enjoy ESM but most things are really overpriced. And they've increased prices once again while cutting the bread size in half. lol

    • Yikes... I mean its nice you guys like it, but theres a reason people are constantly making fun of olive garden. Its food really is high-margin crap. Though to be fair, all franchise restaurants have to maintain a consistent flavor which means the food must be cooked in a way that even the least experienced chef and worst quality of ingredients would taste as good as the best... So in otherwords, Microwaves to cook and ingredients that areflash frozen.

Go read Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. It'll explain everything.

There's a few out west. One in White Rock, BC and another in central Calgary that I know of off the top of my head.

    • East Side Mario's is crap. I'll eat at home before going there.

Olive Garden rocks. I hope they re-expand across Ontario/Canada and drive ESM out of business.
