McDonald's: Snack Size Fruit Smoothie are $1

There's been buzz in the forums about this for the past few days, but McDonald's just confirmed the news. Next week, you can try out their new real fruit smoothies with a snack size drink for $1. The small smoothies are regularly $1.99 each.

You can pick from strawberry/banana, blueberry/pomegranate or pineapple/mango flavours. The drinks are made with real fruit puree, ice and yogurt. Over in the forums, there have been some positive reviews so far!

This offer is running from April 16-22.

- Too bad the location near me doesn't have smoothies on the menu. It's a "small" restaurant with a limited menu.

  IMO, these are better than Tim's which is too runny.
  
  BTW, when I bought a large smoothie today, I got charged $3.29 instead of $3.69 (price on the menu) here in Winnipeg. My friend had the same thing happen. It looks like their cashier system has a 40-cent glitch in our favour, while it lasts.

- quality is way better than timmies smoothies but falls short of other dedicated smoothie shops like booster juice and such. it's no gourmet smoothie but it is good and priced right. too bad it's not at all the locations.

- Timmies tastes like juice blended with ice whereas these taste thicker, but not milky thick.. More like yogurty...
  
  I have to say though.. Their machine for making these looks awesome (electronically programmed to automatic dispenses ice and juice, blends and even auto cleans)

- Been getting these a lot, as the prIce is easier to take than booster juice or jugo. Not sure what actually goes into them? But it taste more like fruit than suger. Tried a timmies one the other day and it was syropy like a slurpy! So bad

  these are made with yogurt, where tims is basically a slushie for the same price. not to mention tims charges $0.80 for yogurt to be added. total rip off for an inferior product.

  free and you didnt share??? so because they were sampling a product for free at an single individual store for one day in the past makes you think less of the value of a product that is now on sale? you must have a time machine. please share where you got it from and for how much.

  snack size = tiny but for $1, its still cheaper than buying any of the regular small, medium or large sized. two of them at a $1 has more quantity than a medium and cheaper than it too.
