A heated debate over a few cents? Wow. Just wow.
So they offered Canada real 100% beef and 100% white meat all these years?
Ahh, that was it. Still, until this year, listen to what we were eating in those burgers
Delicious!

...if anyone would know it would be i used to work there for decades(crew, swing mgr, then ass. and finally store mgr-) ..
I scanned both receipts and e-mailed them to McD's head office. They called me back and said the $.20 is for EXTRA stuff, not substitutions. I asked for it in an e-mail, and they said they couldn't! lol.
I went back the first place, ordered my burger, and when they tried to charge me the extra $.40 I told them they had to take of $.20 for the onions and $.20 for the mustard and $.20 for the pickle! I ended up having a heated debate with the manager, and he agreed to not charge me the $.40 extra, but wouldn't give me the extra $.20 off! Bastards.

McDonalds customer service is one of the best in the business.
Get the head office number, call them, and explain exactly what happened and the persons name!
Or time and date it was and a good description of the person.
Also send an email.
There's a good chance you will get free swag (food coupons) in the mail after that too!!
2 mcdoubles, a small fry and a water cup gets you close
Value menu items are often advertised on TV commercials to give the impression that their prices are low. However, once the commercial convinces them to go to McDonalds, many people end up ordering a meal with a larger item anyway. The value menu is usually shown at the side of the menu without pictures of the items. This draws your attention to the more expensive main meal items (with pictures) in the middle. Having both the main and value menus helps McDonalds maximize revenue by only selling at low prices to more frugal customers who otherwise may not be willing to pay the higher prices.
can't you just print to pdf? idk what makes it happen but all my computers have this option.... idk if it has to do with Foxit Reader or not. I did a quick google and there are program that might help you to do it: "DoPDF" or "cutePDF", but I don't have them
They "changed" the Big Mac size a long time ago. What a joke! The structure is still there but it is mini size now.
Value Menu, I thought it's solely for the retirees or seniors ...
How come they don't show the value menu when u walk into mcdonalds on their menus.....are they trying to not sell as much as they know there is less profit selling that so they only sell when customers ask for it?
EDIT:
Refreshed a few times. works now
I wish I had a better printer/scanner quality..
I printed and rescanned them:

They dont look too good... but one may want to try?
I don't go to the McDonald's very often; I haven't never seen anyone actually order from the Value Menu ...
but the Big Mac only has one slice of cheese
Ask for a "Double Cheeseburger dressed like a Mac" (they know what it is)
Everything else is pretty much the same except the Buns... OR pay 5$ more for the bun
