McDonald's: Free Small Coffee, October 29 to November 4

Free Small Coffee, October 29 to November 4
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!
October 29 update: Just a reminder, this great deal starts today!

Originally posted October 25: Coffee lovers, mark your calendars: McDonald's is back with one of their popular free coffee events next week! From October 29 to November 4, you can head in to your local McDonald's to get a free small premium roast coffee!

This promotion is running all day long for the seven days, and there's a limit of one free coffee per customer, per visit. There's a banner image promoting the freebie on the McDonald's Facebook page and we've seen billboards advertising it as well. In the past, this promotion has been extremely well-run, with separate lines for free coffee during the morning rush.

    • Nice, I don't mind their coffee. This coming from a Starbucks drinker.

The cost to them is $0.10 per cup. And a lot of people buy something else so they probably make money still.

    • Thanks McD & OP. Starbucks is died to me now that they've changed rewards system. Always preferred McD's anyway.

    • Some people give McD's coffee a hard rap, but it's actually pretty tasty. I prefer it over Tim's and Starbucks.

    • Last promo (wasn't it just a few mos ago?) the coffee was terrible, awful, and really really BAD.
Free was paying too much! Maybe will try one not near work this time.

    • McDnalds Free Coffee.. (Again) - for 1 week from Last Week of October

But i think its the perfect time as its almost winters...or already is

Its Small Size but with Unlimited Free Refills...

good to save few bucks and MC's coffee is good too
The unlimited refills may be YMMV. Last free-coffee round, one of the McDonald's I visited wouldn't give me a refill saying that they suspend free refills for small coffees during the freebie-promotion. Didn't have an issue at the other 4 locations I frequented during the freebie-round.

    • I think it is not good coffee at all, but I am not a daily drinker, or monthly, lol.

Anyway the last time I had this free coffee it was awful, I could not understand why you would go to all this effort to win clients and serve ***** coffee.

+1 I used to drink Sbux often but now only go to McD's when I need coffee. As for Timmies, I can't recall the last time I've been there.

    • i will drink starbucks all the time; their's stronger, i drink 1 cup i am awake for the day, mcd or timmy's require 2-3 cups that also means 2x-3x more sugar/milk consumed, which is bad

    • Not a regular coffee drinker, but when it's free and when I go pass a McDonalds I usually stop and grab one. It needs to be at least a double-double, but preferably a triple-triple for it to taste good to me -- i like it sweet and creamy.

    • MCD coffee > starbucks or timmy's

I am the sucker that will go in for the free coffee but always get too embarrassed and end up buying something just for the free coffee.

    • when does the mcdonalds monopoly promo end? i know during free coffee weeks you can upgrade to a medium or large coffee for about $0.40 or so. might be worth it to get some more monopoly codes.

I was at a McDonald last week waiting for a car at the shop. Bought a coffee and an hour later, asked for a refill. Policy was only refill within 45 minutes. Crazy, he timed me. Coffee black at Mc is better than Tim's- at least to me.

Serious? I had McDonald's breakfast a while ago and I was there for about 2 hours (waiting, as well), and I had like 3 refills (once on my way out). I guess YMMV.

+1. I drink it black, and it's actually not too bad. Sbux has a few good dark roasts, but I can't do Tim's black (disgusting).
