Last month KFC ran a nice little deal on Facebook -- when you bought a Zinger Sandwich you'd get a Pepsi fountain beverage for free. This month, they've reversed the offer -- when you buy any Pepsi fountain beverage you'll get a Zinger sandwich for free! If you haven't already "liked" the KFC Facebook page you'll have to do so to access this coupon.

According to the fine print, this offer is valid in Canada only through October 7. You can choose from Pepsi, 7UP, Mountain Dew, Mug Rootbeer, Dr Pepper, Crush or Brisk beverages, any size, with this offer.

    • Actually, I realize it's a better deal this time than last time. Last time you needed to purchase a 32OZ pop (large) which was 1.89-2.19 depending on the restaurant. This time a small pop would do. So even cheaper.

      I suggest saving a copy of the coupon now. You know with these types of coupons in the past, they generally like to tweak it (change the expiry date, change the terms, etc), then everyone goes scrambling looking for copies of the original coupon.

      Of course they do. Small, Medium, Large. Of course, you may find that the sleazy locations may hide the small and medium cups after a few days of RFD-effect.

      I think they were referring to the picture and all the advertising links that force the user click to follow for their "free zinger coupon", and only once they hit the main page to the coupon do they see the "with purchase". It's legal and it is the way KFC gets you to click the links in the first place. Remember a few weeks back when they started talking about the promotion, they said "freebie" which just became "offer" last week. Everyone who knows YUM YUM knows nothing is free with them and come to expect this.

      With Mary Brown, "freebie" actually means "freebie".

      Last time I never came across a single KFC that refused the Zinger coupon.

    • Awesome coupon. The KFC at the Scotiabank foodcourt (downtown Toronto) accepted the coupon with no questions asked, and there was no lineup at all.
