Harvey's sent a new email out to their subscribers this morning, and there was a special offer inside....right now, when you buy a Double Bacon Cheddar Combo, you can get a free upgrade to frings (a combination of french fries and onion rings). The Double Bacon Cheddar burger consists of two burger patties topped with 100% real Canadian cheddar and naturally-smoked bacon.

To get the free upgrade, print off and present this coupon to your cashier. This offer is valid at participating Harvey's restaurants until April 1, 2012.

- I didn't need a coupon last week when i bought the burger... it said right on the menu that the upgrade was free... and they automatically gave me frings. Ottawa mtl road location.

  Doesn't seem like an upgrade to me. A half order of fries and a half order of onion rings is one side, that's what you get with any combo not just the most expensive one they offer.
