    • Skip the linguini alfredo, way too much starch, just makes you bloated. Garlic is the best in terms of least filling and best value for your money. Last time I did this I downed about 112 shrimps.

    • Is there any way to order the teriyaki shrimps without the rice, or any of the shrimp dishes without the rice. It's just a big filler

last time i went, which was when i was still in university, the guy taking our order said they start to lose money after 110 shrimp. naturally we made that our goal, with the hope of downing a couple more to cover the drinks. with garlic shrimp it was nothing, my buddy did all garlic the whole way and was up around 260(don't remember the exact number). i made the mistake of ordering the coconut which tasted awful and topped out just under 170. of course we ate our cheesy bread and salads as well.

if i did it again, i probably would do the linguini. eating 200 shrimp might be a good value, but it's not a very good meal.

Man I love the Coconut shrimp and was upset that last year they took it off of the endless shrimp menu (still there for regular price though). It seems it isn't there again this year... Sigh... I'm surprised you don't like it. Dat Piña Colada sauce!

Whenever we received subsequent orders they came with just shrimp and none of the rice. Maybe each location is different in this regard.

The garlic shrimps will be small but can't be dry swimming in hot garlic butter. How else are people downing 200 shrimps.

    • I don't know if things changed much but a year or two ago when we went on this endless shrimp event it was painful. The issue was is they only brought you a serving at a time (on a small plate). You had to wait each time to get refilled.....sometimes 10-15 minutes. NEver again, and hopefully things have changed.........

    • We usually go once or twice a year for this in Kitchener. In my experience:
      * you can request that refills come without the rice and they won't give you any grief
      * shrimp size and number varies depending on the dish (pasta has those wee little cocktail shrimp, garlic has about 8-10 small guys, breaded have more?) It's been a year, so my fond memories may be off.
      * yes they make you wait to order refills, but you can put in a new order as soon as they drop off your last one, and they've always let us order 2 at a time, so the 10 minute wait is no biggie as long as you're not inhaling the shrimp
      * also comes with a salad and unlmtd cheddar bay biscuits, and yes I know they occupy valuable stomach real estate, but they also take on a whole new level of glorious when used to sop up the remaining garlic butter once you've eaten the shrimp
      * no it's not fancy fine seafood dining, but it can be damn tasty and a fun outing with friends

      THANKS OP!

    • I don't know how u guyz can eat 100+ shrimps and keep it down.

I went to RL for the 4 course special last month and could only eat 1/2 the soup/salad/entree + 2 biscuits and I had to take the entire dessert to go.

I did not really even enjoy the few shrimps I had ate, I'd likely vomit if I tried to eat more than a dozen.

Even @ home when we make garlic+butter shrimps, we never can eat more than a dozen, each.
