    • Wal-mart has monoploy city on for $18.97 used the coupon and picked it up for $8.97 and I get to make some chex mix with the cereal.

      Also remember Hasbro owns a ton of other board game companies like Avalon Hill so getting 10 bucks off axis and allies is not to shabby either.

    • i was at sobeys today.. they musta had like 300 boxes or more of this cereal.. and its 3.97 .. the xmas rice krispies... i think ill get a few boxes even if only to make actual rice krispy treats..then save $10 per board game.. i wanna get a couple of classic ones

      They also still had few of the Nintendo coupon ones as well.

      I doubt it. Sobey's is generally quite expensive in comparison to other supermarkets.

      Which one did you go to? I went to a no frills in vaughan but they only had the vanilla rice krispies with the coupon. I want the plain.

      Also went to the Sobey's in Vaughan and they didn't have any. I think I'm gonna buy like 10 boxes

    • we were at the the rcss beside the scarborough town centre...we got the rice krispies that were vanilla but honestly, they really don't taste that different. i made rice krispy squares today with the kids and they turned out exactly the same as the usual ones, and when eaten plain they taste pretty close to the plain ones too.

      all i know is when i went to sobeys on friday at like 9am (near start of their sale) to get the pop deal.. i saw like 300 boxes of the christmas green and red one, as i posted earlier.. for the bigger box too.. and it scanned at 3.97... bought the one i asked to scan...

      so id say for a big box like that with the coupon, sobeys seems like a good alternative or RCSS...

      btw.. did u check the aisle areas? like not inside the aisle with cereal.. at the markham store, it was on the far left aisle that has all the frozen stuff.. it was just skids and skids of this cereal probably about 5 feet high lol...

    • Just picked up 13 boxes of the large Rice Krispies boxes at Sobeys at Rutherford and bathurst!!!

      I think people thought I was a little nuts.

      Great deal for the large box of Rice Krispies at Sobey's for $3.99

      Went to Wal-mart right after and picked up Monopoly and Scrabble for free, plus City Monopoly for like 8 bucks after discount.

      Still got 10 more coupons, gonna give some away to family!

      Oh and I just finished making Rice Krispies Squares!

    • Today I got Sorry sliders for $9.97..I couldnt find any rice crispie coupons...but still, a good price.
      zellers also had ALOT of sales on sheets & blankets..the Jersey knit sheet sets were 50% off....i love that material..soft like fleece but not enough to make ya sweat.

      damn... i wanted to try it after the guy posted.. i guess now its not gonna work unless i get a CSR that doesnt do anything about it.. that monopoly card game sounds like fun!

      quick impressions:
      Yahtzee free 4 all - board+box is awkward and put together badly (sticky parts of board are exposed in many corners. comes with 30 dice. fun with more people. throw in a pencil and classic yahtzee gamecards for original yahtzee in the box.

      Sorry Sliders: construction is ok, game sucks. Short and boring, the slider pieces are not heavy enough, and don't bounce off other piece they hit. Print out your own copy of the original Sorry gameboard and cards and use the pieces from this game so you won't feel so bad.

      Scrabble- what can i say?

      Monopoly City - basically the same as monopoly except you can build 8 properties on each piece of land. people get bankrupt a lot faster since you can build anytime, anywhere without owning all of the same colour or even landing on your space. You get over $36mil dollars to start so you can build the max properties almost right away (houses cost about $1mil each). The gameplay is broken since there is no need to buy industrial buildings (costs twice as much as residentials). Parts are molded well, but unpainted so they all look like a box or a stick of plastic. Try playing with classic rules if you like so it won't feel so broken.

      I picked up Classic monopoly for $1.13 though.
