    • Thanks. Changed my phone number on there. The very top of the "Update Profile" page there's a space for Promo Code. I got the email confirmation right away, saying 2,000 points will be added by July 26.

I would save the points for the Mega Redemption days at the end of year where Shoppers gives you more! (In the past you could get an extra $80 on top of $170)

I think it only happened once 2 years ago ($250), but did not happen last year.

    • Lol I don't even have that much points. I only have 11,900 and I don't buy A LOT of stuff ever at one visit. I only go there to buy either 1 packet to 2 packets of milk and that's it. Prescription medication I go to Costco and as for OTC its very rare. OTC = Over The Counter drugs.

Interesting to see how others spending $50+ on one visit lol. What do you guys buy? I find most of the stuff over priced at SDM to be honest lol.

Shopper's isn't usually the place to go for day-to-day things but they usually have some reasonably good prices when they're having a weekly sale.

If anything, people around here shop at Shopper's to get Optimum points which can be redeemed for good amount of credit (95,000 points for $200/$220 of credit for example) at certain parts of the year.

Yeah, I know last year was only $40 bucks extra. Hoping it will be better this year

I only buy what's on sale (groceries, personal care etc) - on 20X the points days and redeem at the end of the year during the Mega Redemption days

Like anywhere else you just have to shop smart...get stuff when it's on sale, compare prices (SDM is not always overpriced...sometimes quite the opposite). My shopping hasn't changed at all because of the points (even tho IMO it's the best points card out there), I just get really great rewards for what I'd be buying anyway at the price I'd be paying anyway (or less).

I actually think Shoppers is pretty cheap, when they have their deals which tends to be often. I normally get hygiene products

I entered the code 2050. How long did it take for you guys to see your points?

      Thanks OP!
