    • Hmmm... I just ordered the Britax Chaperone car seat yesterday, and we already bought a different stroller.

How is the Britax B-Ready stroller? We purchased the Baby Jogger City Elite, which is all-terrain. (There is an unpaved path near our house.)

    • B ready is huge and doesn't have snack tray. However, the price is really nice if you need a car sear and a stroller.

    • We ordered ours a few weeks back when amazon.com had the same promo. Got the stroller and free second seat instead since we obviously can't use the car seat up here.

I did order the B-safe car seat from amazon.ca but when it arrived I noticed that the manufacture date was 7/xx/2011 and opted to return it. I ended up getting the B-safe from TJ's on Marine Dr. (in Vancouver) which was manufactured towards the beginning of the year. Just something to consider if you're going to be ordering from amazon.ca.

We have a City Select and love it (almost 2 years of use with a now 2.5 year old and a 9 month old). Not sure about the elite. Vs the B Ready we liked the stadium seating of the select more.

Were they both in stock? The discount didn't come off as soon as I entered mine, but did show up on the final checkout page (before order was final, but after payment info)

    • Does anyone know if a bracket is required to attach the same brand car seat?

If you're talking about attaching britax b-safe or chaperone, then no, the b-ready does not require additional brackets

The B-Ready comes with a bracket that works with Britax Car seats. You can also buy an adapter to use with some other brands of infant car seats.

Earlier in the year I bought a B-Ready with a 2nd seat for $450 shipped from www.justkidsstore.com and had it shipped to CBI warehouse in Buffalo, a cheaper option if you're planning a trip to the states.
The City Select is a great stroller too, but we preferred the B-Ready, it feels alot shorter and compact vs. the City Select. Some people may disagree but that was what we thought comparing the two.

    • I own this stroller and LOVE it.... however I think the Uppababy frame is a bit better for women. It's far lighter and a bit narrower making it more manoeverable. For a big guy it's not problem lugging it around but I could see a small woman struggling with it.

The difference in build quality once you get past the maxi-cosi level is huge. This thing feels like it's built to last.

    • BOUGHT ONE! Thanks OP.

FYI: Mrs Stock called Britax regarding manufacturing dates for the car seats. She was told all the Chaperone models are 2012. The B-safe ones may be 2011.

    • this is a great deal but my wife and i went to look at it tonight at a local store and she thought it was far too wide/bulky/heavy (she's fairly small).

she much preferred the weight and ease of use of the Britax B-Agile - a little off topic, but does anyone know if a B-Agile model purchased from the USA would be compatible with a Canadian Britax infant car seat (ie. B-Safe/Chaperone)?

    • My brother in law just brought up our B-ready from Settle and I can confirm that the B-safe I got from amazon.ca fits in just fine. I can't see why either of the infant car seats wouldn't be able to fit the B-agile.

    • I bought a b-agile from amazon in the states and bought a bready with the chaperone during the free ride event in July. Fits perfectly fine in my American b-agile and my Canadian b-ready.

After pushing my friends uppababy around a couple of weeks ago I do prefer that over the bready but it cost more and my britax seat fits both strollers!

It's after you enter the credit card info, but before clicking confirm. It's the very last screen. If it says that you will still have a chance to review you haven't gotten far enough yet.
