      I'm in the same boat as you. I'm considereing this one... but it looks like the blades might not be as wide as regular ones. Anybody know?

      I will probably just end up getting this http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en as it has a 5 year exchange warranty at canadian tire. Assuming this warranty is legit it looks like a good deal.

    • i guess the main difference from what i can tell between the can tire and walmart conair is: walmart conair is wire-less and can tire is wired???
      im kinda sold on both. i dont know which to choose. my old one looks exactly like the one from can tire.

      The warranty is 'legit'. However, it only covers 'manufacturing defects' not wear and tear or dulling of the blades (although there are certainly ways to get around that issue ) Just make sure you keep you receipt (or a copy of it as the ink they use on the receipts seems to have a 1 year shelf life before it just disappears from the paper)(or the warranty is invalid).
