Toronto Hydro Festive Light Exchange: Trade 2 Strings of Incandescent Lights for 1 LED String (GTA)
If you're in the Toronto area, Toronto Hydro is spreading some holiday cheer with a Festive Light Exchange. How does it work? You exchange two strings of incandescent lights for one string of LED holiday lights. There will be events in many neighbourhoods through December 6, 2009. The first exchange will be held November 6 and November 7 at St. Lawrence Market.
LED lights consume far less electricity, produce almost no heat, and have a very long lifespan.
For more information about exchange locations and times, visit Toronto Hydro's Festive Light Exchange homepage.
