this offer is expired

Looking for a KitchenAid Stand Mixer this holiday season? Here's a great one-day deal from Lowes.ca -- the Pro 600 Model is available for just $298 today. Plus, when you take advantage of the current KitchenAid mail-in rebate, you'll save an additional $50. That brings this model down to $248, and it regularly retails for $498 at Lowe's!

This reduced price is only available today (December 7), while quantities last, as part of Lowes.ca's 12 Days of Holiday Values promotion. This mixer usually comes with a bread hook, wire whip, and beater attachment, though this is not specified in the Lowe's description and it appears to be available in the Brushed Nickel finish only. For more information, visit Lowes.ca today. Thanks to forum poster MarvinMartian for this hot tip!

    • Damn. I've wanted one of these for ages. Now that the Pro 600 is finally a decent price, I can't buy it because we have upcoming expenses involved with getting a new house. Darn you, timing!

Great deal for anyone who has been looking to get one of these and like the metal colour.

    • Similar to the one day deal they did at Christmas last year, and a good deal once again. 575 watts motor in this one.

Sears has it for $524.99 but has a link to a mail-in rebate. The rebate says it is for participating authorized dealer. Or you can try to get Sears to match the nominal price and use the $75 rebate.

    • This is an amazing deal. I'd totally get it if I didn't already have the Artisan. This deal is actually cheaper than the artisan on sale...

The MIR is 'up to' $75. This specific model qualifies for $50.

Sears's actually has the "Licorice" colour for $699.99: http://www.sears.ca/product/kitchena...527-4KP26M1XLC
I'm not sure if Sears would price match to the Lowe's one as they're not the same colour, but might be worth a try. You'd still get the same PM price unless there are any sears coupons floating around out there???

    • I got this one from Sears when they had this one on sale on Sept 12st one day sale. The mixture is very very poweful. I highly recommend this one. I alos got $50 MIR direclt completed online.

    • Just Called Sears to price match. They said that they cannot do it over the phone and I have to go to the store for price matching.

I also tried this a month ago when the bay had it on for cheap, but they said the same thing. It would be nice if they did since they usually have the on-line coupon codes. Just hoping someone out there knows if there's any in-store Sears coupons to make the deal any sweeter.

    • I have this mixer. Highly recommend. I bought it when it was 699.00. This is the only one to buy. The lower powered ones are only decoration imho.

    • Lowe's one-day sale for their "12 Days of Holiday Values". Kitchenaid Pro 600 Stand Mixer (4KP26M1XNP) $298.

      http://www.lowes.ca/products/view.as...ect=nomobile=1

There have been a few threads on here in the past few weeks about the Pro 600 (sears, amazon, the bay, etc.). I haven't done the leg work yet to see where this can be PM'd to get a better deal, plus any coupons that can be applied to the other stores where you can PM.

There is a $50 MIR for this model however: http://www.kitchenaidpromotions.com/kapnet/Default.aspx

Possible PM opportunity at Best Buy if you can find it in-stock: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...29d71c67 aen02
      $298.00 - 10%($699.99-$298.00) = $257.80 + tax - $50 MIR.

Please also post any suggestions as to where to PM and get a better deal.

the link to the MIR is out of date, isn't it?? your claims has to be submitted by nov 15!

    • Does Lowes work for the rebate?

    • Just for anyone trying to PriceMatch at BestBuy. Their policy is they won't price match one day sales so it may be YMMV.

Also, Lowes is on the Kitchenaid.ca site under "where to buy" - so should be no problem getting MIR. When I looked at the PDF for the $50 rebate, it says purchase must be made by Dec 24, 2012. The link where I read about the rebate is:

      http://www.sears.ca/wcsstore/Sears/p..._Rebate_EN.pdf

For anyone in Ottawa, Kanata is sold out and don't think they're getting more soon. Orleans still has 9 or so.

One final question - I bought the Breville 550W (that Consumer Reports liked so much) last night for $235 , so will need to return one mixer. If anyone out there has used both, I'd love to hear which you preferred and why. Thanks.

    • Does Lowes work for the rebate?
In the past, they've been specifically excluded from rebates, along with Future Shop, BBB, and Loblaws. This rebate doesn't specifically exclude them, and they're listed under the Kitchenaid "Where to buy" link, so it should be safe.

Click on Store Locator from the home page (a little bit below the Lowes logo). Set your store first, then checkout.
Mine is already waiting for me at the store

    • Is this mixer too much for an occasional baker? The specs on it seem monster compared to the Artisan.

    • FYI. I had an online chat session with a Lowe's rep and she was under the impression that Lowes.ca was not participating in the Kitchenaid promotion.
So the rebate is not necessarily guaranteed. If there's no rebate, the similar costco one on sale is at $289 and might be the better deal.
