- Just an FYI to folks who may be ordering from JYSK for the first time. The quality is just awful. Its like a low end IKEA. There is one near me that I have been into from time to time, and grabbed a few things. But overall, its almost like temporary stuff that is cheap, until you can find better. The furniture they sell makes IKEA stuff look like high end pieces. As if the cheap MDF is made of corn chips. But for the odd nick nack, it fits the bill.

  anecdotal experience: I have a jysk bed frame that's ~5 years old now and is holding up like a champ. It's the MALM knockoff, and the quality actually isn't bad. The thing literally weighs like 200 pounds and is quite solid so the quality might vary across items.

  They did accept the jysk coupon at bed bath and beyond. Got a sweet deal for a new vacuum. But they don't price match with a coupon. It's either or.

  AFAIK Jysk doesn't sell vacuums and BB&B only accepts competitor's coupons for items that the competitor also sells. You got lucky.

  Winnipeg -- Leila Location. I neglected to say in my post that the original 20% off was apparently a pricing error. They had left the signage up from a previous sale and neglected to take it down. So they refused to give me the 20 + 30 = 50% discount and I didn't push. Maybe I should have...

  Well technically it's Price - 20% - 30%. So it wouldn't have been "50%". You don't sum up the % discounts then take it off the original price.
