    • I managed to grab 30 bags last time during HD's sale, but later was told that Walmart has organic black earth 25L per bag at $0.97 everyday price! Unless someone can prove me HD's soil is better than WM's, I won't bother with getting up early to the lineup again.. :)

    • I saw that awhile ago at walmart as well but it was a sale I believe. i was there the other day and it was 1.47 regular. which is still cheaper than other places.

    • For the equivalent of 20 bags, is this cheaper than ordering a "dumping" from a landscaping company?

By "organic", does this mean it's like compost, or just top soil like the rest with very little biological organic matter. Anyone know where I can get biological compost for a good price? I'd like to spread that over my super clay lawn as well as do some planting. Thanks!

    • I'm guessing you meant "yes", that the HD sale will be cheaper because of the deliver charge for bulk soil?

Around here the delivery charge alone for a truck of dirt is $90 and the cost of soil on top of that - Ouch!

    • On sale for $0.99 on Sat in London, Ontario's HDs.

Anyone compare this to CT's $0.99 Black Earth? Same price for the same amount...

Is HD's top soil better or worse then CT's black earth? Which is better? Is there much different or is just a different name for the same product?
