- Just a note that it has to be installed by an authorized miela installer and it doesn't look like it would apply to items purchased at the Miela unboxed outlet in the GTA (Would be a great deal if i'm wrong).

  Hi there venice_it. When Miele corporate called to verify my order (which they do for all orders, regardless of the outfit you purchase from) they confirmed my 10 year warranty was included even though I am installing it myself. The only thing a certified Miele installation would get me is 1 year warranty on the installation.
  
  Not sure about the Unboxed Outlet - sadly they won't ship out to the west coast .

- Thanks OP. I've had it with our 9 year old Whirlpool washer/dryer. I had to have service on the dryer twice and the washer three times. All out of the warranty...I think I even purchased a 3 yr extended warranty for the items.

- Nice Find OP... We planned to purchase the Miele Steam Oven for our new home closing in mid-Dec sometime later this year. But now the promo is here so I better get it this month....A 10-year warranty cost $770 + tax!!!
