It's suction is lacking compared to the larger Dyson's however I love the portability. To me, that makes vacuuming 100x more bearable, can't go back.

When people complain that it only lasts 15 minutes they don't understand that the vacuum only powers up when you are holding the button down. Soon as you let go it powers off. 15 minutes of CONSTANT use is a long time. You can get quite a lot done with this thing. I can clean 3 sets of carpeted stairs, the living room floor, 2 bedroom floors, 2 ceiling fans and various other parts of the house and still have a charge going.
We also have a large Dyson but this thing is just so handy I use it more.
I too bought a spare battery from Amazon because my home sometimes requires a little more time. The portability is absolutely fantastic, I just can't go back to a corded vac.
and the refurb price is great too. I love mine.
I charge it every night.
Suction is good, but the best part is the portability.
