This 106.7cm linear design fireplace features multi-colour LED flame effect, 1500 W heating capacity, mounting bracket for wall hanging, remote control and more. The $399.99 price includes shipping and handling and is valid through December 14.

- How would two units function together? Would you have to use 2 base stations or would one send the same signal to both? If it requires both that is a little indiscrete.

- I prefer bluetooth wireless headphones...no static, great range, price is about the same.
  
  You'll need a bluetooth audio transmitter (~20.00 on eBay), and a bluetooth stereo headset (25+).
  Bluetooth doesn't work well for video viewing due to buffering. i always end up losing audio sync.
  
  Too bad this set is ir. My cheapo 900MHz wireless just died and in the market for another pair.

  I have done a lot of homework on that one and decided it was not worth even $50. Most complaints about the very loud popping sounds. One of the reviewers took it apart and managed to stop the popping. If you're into taking things apart then you may have better luck. As for me, I will continue to look for a better set.

  Works fine for me - probably a bad transmitter or poor quality headphones? Never lost audio sync...

  Reading the reviews it seems that users love it or hate it...and any that reference utility costs seem to say it increases the hydro bills.

I've been waiting for a better price so made the plunge, as I have a larger space (800 sq feet) in my basement that just needs a little bit of extra help keeping warm in the winter. Note that these are currently selling in local Costco stores for only $10 more... $149. So $40 off is a bit deceiving...

  The online stuff is always more expensive though because they factor in shipping, but yes you are right, if you have access to a B&M store than its not a huge savings. I researched the hell out of these quartz heaters a couple years ago and the general consensus I determined from a ton of reviews was that it was all a huge marketing gimmick and that they really did little more than an ordinary space heater that cost a fraction of what these were selling for. As mentioned above, the people that loved them really did love them, but the info I recall gleaning at the time was that they were generally older people that were just happy they were a bit warmer than they were before. These are widely distributed in the US via infomercials so the clientÃÂ¨le for the most part consists of blue haired old ladies who buy one for themselves and one for the grandkids college dorm room where is ends up being used as a table to roll dubes on.
