    • Unfortunately, Kitchenaid has lost its way in recent years and their mixers are nowhere near as highly regarded as they used to be. Just take a look at some recent reviews, and you'll hear stories about burnt-out motors and other problems. America's Test Kitchen gave this one a rating of "Recommended with reservations".
