I got an older 10-cup model just before discontinuing lol for a little more that's working great.
Also, the "3 cups" is 3 "cups" of dry rice. Their "cups" are 180ml, not 250ml.
the Instant Pot IP-LUX60 will also make stew , congee, and a work as a pressure cooker.
IMHO is a better value than a standalone rice cooker

Onnly thing the zojirushi won't do s the pressure cooking (least these models) it'll do the rest but for stewing there's not real predefined option. I think I just used the cake option or something in a pinch. Pressure pots make great rice though if you get the right ones :p (or know how to use it)
Only thing , not a bad thing tough , The Instant Pot inner pot is Stainless steel so rice stuck a little but after soaking it went off easily.
I love fresh bread... very tempted to get one.
Actually I was surprised how nice it it compared with my Japan made Panasonic rice cooker.
Based on what I read and after useing it it looks 100% safe to use everyday , lots of safety features.
what sold me is a friend has one and has had it for almost 2 years, he uses his 2-3 times a week and loves it.
Been eyeing it as well... sitting in my cart deciding whether or not to pull trigger...
