Single serve brewers are becoming increasingly popular and if you're looking for one of your own, Amazon.ca has a good deal on a Tassimo model you might want to check out. Right now, they've put the Tassimo T65 Home Brewing System on sale for $98 with free shipping. As with all Amazon deals, quantities are limited so you'll want to place an order soon if you're interested.

- Not bad if you're looking for one. T55 is $98 at Walmart. T45 is $88 at Walmart too. For top of the line Tassimo, this is the one.

  Why? Not much difference between a T20 (home) and a T65 (work) IMO....T20 doesn't have a filter (I use Brita water anyway), slightly smaller reservoir, no fancy LCD screen, all plastic and is cheaper. Once I get my $20 MIR, final cost on my T20 will be $43.

  During the 1st of December, Extra Foods was selling a T20 for $66. Since it was first Monday or Tuesday of the month (promo at Extra Foods), I got $6 off....$66-$6+GST-$20MIR= ~$43. Bonus: Waiting for my coupon/certificate for a free T-discs.

  Nice post Pagla, considering it is $129 in costco right now $98 is a pretty good deal. It doesn't matter what is was on Black Friday since no one I know can go back in time. Right now at this moment it is a good price for that machine.

  Costco's deal has the free T-discs....lotsa of them....can't remember the exact number...like 70 or 80 plus.

- T65 has matted dust-resist finish , cord management, better sound insulation, adjustable cup holder, fancy useless LED light, fancy useless LCD.
  
  Disclaimer: I have a T20, T65 and T55.
  
  T55 is almost perfect, except it doesn't support old T-disc without front barcode, glossy finish like T20 that attracts dusts and sometimes water retained in t-discs. My opinion is T55 > T65/T46 > T20.

- I picked up a T65 for $88 a while back and have been quite pleased with the purchase. Only issue I've had is the blue clip thing that fastens the t-disc into place sometimes gets stuck shut and I have to manually pull it up. I've solved the problem by just leaving it open when not in use. I had two units that had the same issue. Has anyone found a solution to this?

  Sorry I don't have a solution for you. I was wondering though if the blue clip thing is the most recent made or not because the one I just purchased doesn't have the blue thing.

- The blue clip thing is for safety (T20,T45,T46,T65), did you call Tassimo to tell them you have a T65 without the blue clip holder? Let them verify your serial number to be safe.

- My T55 is like an inkjet printer at the start then a rolling laser printer for the rest of the brew. I have a quiet laser printer tho. I don't know how else to describe it. LOL sorry if I'm not much help.

- The T65 is being discontinued and no replacement is announced. This is why it's selling for cheap.

  It's certainly louder than you'd expect but it doesn't last very long... maybe like a minute per disc?

  I didn't know the T55 is quieter than the 65. We've had our 65 for a while, like it a lot but it's quite loud, at least during the initial process. If the 55 is a lot quieter I'd be tempted to get it.

  Yes, I bought mine at Best Buy. Did a PM. Ended up paying $84 for it. You also get a $20 mail in rebate if purchase before Jan 31st. Altogether $64 for a T55. Word.
